How it is designed

Four pieces make the sleeping setup. The back wedge takes the torso. The U-shaped piece takes the thighs. The well in the middle is empty. Pull the pieces apart. Do not close them.

The fifth piece is the extra wedge. Stack it when you want more height at the waist or the legs. The listing line is accurate: you set the height, not the factory.

High-density foam. Soft velvet zip covers. Dotted non-slip bases. Three pieces also build a closed ramp for legs or a back rest. The curved cushion is a toilet pad. The center cushion is a footrest.

Why this shape

You set the gap and the height. Closed pieces put the buttocks back on foam.

Lying flat on a mattress makes the buttocks the load-bearing surface. Stacked pillows do the same once they flatten. These pieces hold a well. You leave it open.

What to skip

Do not sit, lie, or put pressure directly on the buttocks when that is the order (ASPS; Scripps Health).
Some written protocols forbid back-lying for weeks (Chicago Breast and Body: 4 weeks). Use the bed setup only if your surgeon allows that position.
Do not close the gap. If you push the back wedge and the thigh wedge together, the buttocks rest on foam.
